The Hellenic Federation of Sports Coaches and Trainers has launched a campaign to inform the parties represented in the Hellenic Parliament about its positions on issues affecting Greek coaches and sport.

POPA Meetings with Members of the Hellenic Parliament

The Hellenic Federation of Sports Coaches and Trainers has launched a campaign to inform parliamentary parties about its views and positions on issues affecting Greek coaches and Greek sport. It is holding a series of meetings with MPs responsible for their parties’ sports portfolios, as well as MPs with degrees in physical education and sport and former athletes.

From the beginning of 2014 to date, meetings have been held with the following, in chronological order:

1. Stavroula Xoulidou (Independent Greeks)
2. Panagiotis Kouroumplis and Giorgos Pantzas (SYRIZA)
3. Theodoris Liapis, member of the KKE Central Committee
4. SYRIZA Sports Committee
5. Anna Karamanli (New Democracy)
6. Christos Aidonis (Movement of Democratic Socialists)
7. Eleni Avlonitou (SYRIZA)
8. Elena Kountoura (Independent Greeks)
9. Pyrros Dimas (PASOK)

At every meeting, POPA presented its positions in writing. All those involved received them with considerable interest and positive comments.

The meetings will continue after the parliamentary elections.
