Meeting between POPA and the President of the Republic

The President of the Republic, Konstantinos An. Tasoulas, received a delegation from the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Federation of Sports Coaches and Trainers—comprising President Athanasios Villiotis, Vice President Giorgos Arachovitis, General Secretary Dimitris Kazaglis, and Treasurer Filippos Oikonomou—who briefed him on the successful outcome of the 15th Global Coach Conference, which they organized in Athens in November 2025.

The Hellenic Federation of Sports Coaches and Trainers (POPA) was founded in 2009 and is the first national umbrella organization representing and fostering the development of the sports coaching profession in Greece. Its main objective is to promote professional recognition, continuing education, and ethical standards among coaches.

Mr. Tasoulas had placed the Conference under his auspices; the members of the delegation warmly thanked him for this contribution and presented him with the Federation's honorary emblem.
