The President of the Hellenic Republic, Konstantinos A. Tasoulas, received a delegation from the Board of Directors of the Panhellenic Federation of Sports Coaches, comprising President Athanasios Villiotis, Vice-President Giorgos Arachovitis, Secretary General Dimitris Kazaglis and Treasurer Filippos Oikonomou. The delegation briefed him on the successful 15th Global Coaches Conference, which the Federation organised in Athens in November 2025.

The Panhellenic Federation of Sports Coaches and Instructors (POPA) was founded in 2009 and is Greece’s first national umbrella organisation representing sports coaches and supporting the development of their profession. Its main objectives are to promote professional recognition, continuing education and ethical standards in coaching.

The conference was held under the auspices of President Tasoulas. In appreciation of his support, the delegation warmly thanked him and presented him with the Federation’s honorary award.
